Wooden Cased Dominoes Sets.

Wooden cased Dominoes are the small tiles traditionally carved from bone or ivory. The tiles usually have small round pips of inset paint so that collectively the tiles make up a domino set.

The oldest known boxed dominoes game sets date back to c.1120 A.D.

This early historical dominoes set was found in China and it is thought that they were introduced to China from India before that. The game didnt become popular until the 18th Century in Europe where the game was adapted has slowly adapated into the form that we know today.

Standard and Giant domino sets today include 28 tiles, each of which consists of a line dividing the playing piece in to two squares and a number of 'pips'.

Standard cased sets have ends ranging from zero to six spots. The playing pieces are rather universal gaming devices, and can be used for many different rules of the game of dominoes
