From the graceful angular Bishop’s headpiece with its distinctive wide open cut, to the exquisite hand-crafted two-piece Knight taken straight from the visages of magnificent steeds. Even the King’s cross finial is accurately detailed and can be easily removed and replaced from the Chess piece if damaged. 

This beautiful Chess Set is presented in a fine hand-made slid lid chess box. This chess box is an exact replica of the famous slid lid chess box first introduced by Jaques in 1855. Even the material used in the lining of this chess box is specially created to replicate the luxurious feel of those very first chess sets made by Jaques Of London
