On Wednesday June 17th 2009, Choice Garden Centre Group invited Jaques of London along to The Bromsgrove Hotel Kidderminster to entertain their members with ‘an evening of Jaques Games’ before their AGM the following day.

The room was laid out with many Jaques fun games. Four of these games: Croquet, Quoits, Rollerball and Shuffleboard were laid out for members who wished to take part in a tournament against each other to win Jaques prizes. As well as these four Jaques Games, there were a further dozen or so Indoor Games which were there to be enjoyed throughout the evening and as it turned out, into the night as well!

The evening started with a Pimms welcome reception from Jaques of London followed by many of the guests having some fun participating in the tournament playing Jaques games. There were many members who competed in the tournament and had a lot of fun playing these games!

As well as the Choice members present, there were also representatives from Solus, who are the largest wholesale supplier to the Garden Centres and who laid on a superb Barbeque for us all.

The positive reaction from Choice members since this evening of Jaques Games has been very positive, and have also expressed their wish to make this enjoyable evening an annual event with the Choice group.
