All Set for Ealing Croquet
Ealing Croquet Club.The Croquet playing quartet of Suzanne Clarke, Richard Hilditch, Colin McKenzie and David Wedmore had high hopes heading into the Annual Ealing croquet tournament.
It was at Saturday's semi-final against Burythat sadly the croquet competition was lost. During the croquet match play game Clarke and Hilditch both lost their singles games to leave Ealing croquet club playing catch up, and though the club won the doubles, they were 2-1 down at by the time the lunch break was reached. However, with Clarke and Hilditch both beaten, Wedmore's heroic effort wasn't enough and they bowed out to the eventual champions of the croquet day.
