The origin of Roulette can be traced back to 17th Century France and the mathematician Blaise Pascal, who was supposedly inspired by his fascination with perpetual motion devices. It wasn't until the 1800's, however, that the game spread across the rest of Europe and America becoming known as the 'King of Casino Games' and one of the most famous and popular casino games of all time.

In legend stories are told about Fran"ois Blanc who it is said bargained with the devil for the secrets of Roulette. The legend is based on the fact that if you add up all the numbers on the roulette wheel (from 1 to 36), the resulting total is "666", which is the "Number of the Beast".
